Kira Bre Clingen

Kira Bre Clingen is a landscape architect and PhD candidate at the University of Cambridge, jointly supervised by Dr. Emily So and Dr. Juliet Mian on the AHRC DTP project "Common Ground: Communicating Flood Risk at a Catchment Scale" in the Fens region of the United Kingdom.

Previously, she was the Daniel Urban Kiley Teaching Fellow in Landscape Architecture at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design, where she taught as a Lecturer from 2022-2025. Before coming to Cambridge, she worked as a Research Associate at the Office for Urbanization, where she led a multi-year design research project using scenario planning to engage decision-makers in climate change adaptation in northern Massachusetts.

Trained as an ecologist, Kira holds an MLA and MDes in Risk and Resilience from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design.
